What They Do

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways. It is responsible for the development, maintenance, and management of national highways entrusted to it by the Government of India. The network it handles spans over 92,000 km of national highways—critical infrastructure for India's connectivity and economy.

Jaipur-Bandikui Expressway Link

A newly completed expressway link featuring slip lanes and cloverleaf ramps to streamline traffic between Delhi and Jaipur.

Guwahati Bypass Enhancements

Includes flyovers, underpasses, and upcoming escalator-equipped foot overbridges along NH-27. Seeks to modernize pedestrian safety and traffic flow.
